The J12JY3 Quick Change Crimping Jaw is engineered for Yazaki YES/YESC 2.8 unsealed terminals, supporting DIN 1.5 and 2.5 mm² (AWG 16/14) conductors. Its confined B Crimp (F Crimp) cavity ensures a strong and consistent grip, delivering reliable, deformation-free crimps for automotive wiring applications.
Compatible with all LiCrim Quick Change crimper handles—including JD, JB, JE, JC, and JFP series—this tool-free jaw system allows quick 5-second swaps with a simple slide-in/slide-out mechanism.

AISI 4140 is a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel. The chromium content provides good hardness penetration, and the molybdenum content ensures uniform hardness and high strength. The jaws are heat treated and have a zinc phosphate surface treatment.
