AISI 4140 is a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel. The chromium content provides good hardness penetration, and the molybdenum content ensures uniform hardness and high strength. The jaws are heat treated and have a zinc phosphate surface treatment

This quick-change crimping jaw is designed for RG-type coaxial cable connectors, including RG174, RG179, Belden 8218, and fiber optic cables. It supports crimp sizes from 1.07 mm to 4.52 mm ([.042" / .068" / .078" / .128" / .151" / .178"]) and is ideal for CCTV, HDTV, radio, GPS, satellite TV, navigation, DTS, and GRS applications.

Fully compatible with LiCrim crimping tools featuring a quick-change locking mechanism, the jaws can be replaced in just 5 seconds—no tools required.
(Not compatible with fixed-jaw crimping tools.)
