The J12JA3 Quick Change Crimping Jaw is engineered for miniature insulated terminals, supporting fine wire sizes from AWG 26 to 16 (DIN 0.1–1.5 mm²). It performs reliable indent crimping on closed barrel terminals and features color-coded markings (red, blue, yellow) for fast and accurate wire gauge identification.
Perfect for automotive wiring, machine installations, electrical work, and electronic device assembly, this jaw offers precise and repeatable crimps in compact wiring spaces.
Compatible with LiCrim Quick Change crimper frames system as below:
- 9 plus Quick Change Ratchet Crimper JD series (Tools Only or With Contacts )

Procedure: Precision and Wax-lost Casting
Treatment: Finished with heat treatment
Surface treatment : Zinc Phosphate
AISI 4140 is a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel. The chromium content provides good hardness penetration, and the molybdenum content ensures uniform hardness and high strength. The jaws are heat treated and have a zinc phosphate surface treatment
These jaws are not compatible with the fixed jaw crimping tools.
Jaw changes take only 5 seconds—slide in, slide out, no tools required.
(Not compatible with fixed-jaw crimping tools.)
