The J12JA4 Quick Change Crimping Jaw is designed specifically for insulated flag terminals, supporting wire sizes AWG 22–18 and 16–14 (DIN 0.5–2.5 mm²). With a unique jaw cavity tailored for 90-degree flag terminal applications, this jaw ensures accurate and secure indent crimps without damaging insulation. It features color-coded markings (red/blue) for easy size identification.
Ideal for automotive, machinery wiring, motorcycles, industrial equipment, compressors, and various electronic and electrical devices, the J12JA4 ensures precise crimping in space-constrained areas.
Compatible with LiCrim Quick Change crimper frames system as below:
- 9 plus Quick Change Ratchet Crimper JD series (Tools Only or With Contacts )
- 8.7" Quick Change Ratchet Crimper JB series (Tools Only or With Contacts )

Surface treatment : Zinc Phosphate
These jaws are not compatible with the fixed jaw crimping tools.
AISI 4140 is a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel. The chromium content provides good hardness penetration, and the molybdenum content ensures uniform hardness and high strength. The jaws are heat treated and have a zinc phosphate surface treatment
Tool-free replacement takes just 5 seconds—slide in, slide out.
(Not compatible with fixed-jaw crimpers.)
